Abstract:
To provide a small-sized free-type bidirectional clutch which can idle an output shaft 6 to both directions while maintaining a position in which an input shaft 4 is stopped.SOLUTION: A pair of intermediate gears 10 are arranged between an output gear 34 and a pair of working gears 12 so as to engage with each other at a reverse side in a peripheral direction with respect to the working gears 12. Protrusions 58 protruding to an axial direction, and having regular polygons at cross section shapes are formed at a pair of the working gears 12, and a camshaft body 24 on which external peripheral faces of the protrusions 58 abut, and in which a pair of cam faces 32a, 32b forming linear lines which are reversely inclined with respect to each other in the peripheral direction are formed is arranged at the input shaft 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
