Abstract:
To provide an orifice seal structure capable of suppressing the occurrence of foams and mortar foreign matters due to the influence of a seal structure between a residence container and an orifice to obtain a high quality glass product and simply replacing the orifice, and a method for manufacturing a glass bottle.SOLUTION: An orifice seal structure 1 comprises: a bushing 7 having an annular end surface 7a on the outlet side of molten glass 60; an orifice 2 having an annular joining part 2s contacting the annular end surface 7a; and a support mechanism 4 for supporting the joining part 2s over the entire circumference so as to match the joining part 2s to the annular end surface 7a. A pressing mechanism 5 for pressing the joining part 2s of the orifice 2 to the annular end surface 7a of the bushing 7 has three force points 17 positioned on the same circumference and acting force on the annular end surface 7a. The three force points 17 are arranged at positions forming rotational symmetry to a central axis c1, and the annular end surface 7a of the bushing 7 is uniformly pressed by the orifice 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
