Abstract:
To provide a vehicle dual-function lighting module that can provide not only a surface light source type rear light but also a light source for a brake light by one lighting module.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a vehicle dual-function lighting module 100 including a light guide layer, a plurality of edge light type solid light sources and at least one directly-below type solid light source. The edge light type solid light source 21 is positioned at a side surface 10s of the light guide layer 10, receives light incident from a side surface of the light guide layer and guides light emitted from a top surface so that the light serves as a surface light source for providing planar illumination light. The directly-below type solid light source 22 is positioned below the light guide layer, and emits light toward the top surface so that the light serves as a reinforcement light source for reinforcing the illumination light. The reinforcement light source is positioned in the surface light source to selectively reinforce a local brightness of the surface light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
