Abstract:
To achieve both of appropriate opening/closing of an injection port through which liquid is injected and suppression of an increase in size of a device in a configuration which can inject the liquid into a liquid storage part provided to a carriage.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: recording means discharging liquid onto a medium and performing recording; a carriage comprising the recording means at a bottom part and being movable in a medium width direction being a direction intersecting with a medium conveyance direction when performing the recording by the recording means; a liquid storage part being provided at an upper part of the recording means in the carriage, storing the liquid and comprising an injection port for injecting the liquid; an injection port unit being provided at an upper part of the liquid storage part in the carriage and consisting of a member related to opening/closing of the injection port; and an operation part unit for performing operation of the device. Being viewed from the medium width direction, the injection port unit and the operation part unit have overlapping portions in a device depth direction being a direction in the medium conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
