Abstract:
To correct subject shake of panning photographing without slowing a frame speed.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: first motion detection means 111 for detecting a motion on the basis of angular velocity information; second motion detection means 141 for detecting a motion of a subject on the basis of an imaging signal; shake correction means 104 for changing an imaging position of an optical image; drive control means 113 for performing shake correction; mechanical members 121 and 134 which are driven when imaging; and recording means 183 for recording transition of an output value of the first motion detection means 111 when photographing with the imaging apparatus in a stationary state. The drive control means 113 calculates a motion amount by reducing an affect of the mechanical members 121 and 134 which are driven when imaging from the transition of the output value of the first motion detection means 111 which is acquired in photographing and the transition of the output value of the first motion detection means 111 in photographing with the imaging apparatus in the stationary state, and calculates a correction amount by using it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
