Abstract:
To obtain a gear connection mechanism for a transmission which can suppress the occurrence of a power transmission block state that power is not transmitted between a gear and a shaft when integrally and movably connecting the gear and the shaft.SOLUTION: A gear connection mechanism for a transmission comprises a synchronization mechanism and a clutch mechanism. The synchronization mechanism is switched to a power transmission state of generating a friction force for making a rotation number of a shaft and a rotation number of a gear approximate each other, and a power block state of not generating the friction force. The clutch mechanism is arranged different from the synchronization mechanism, has first teeth integrally rotating together with the shaft and second teeth integrally rotating together with the gear, and is selectively switched to an engagement state of integrally rotating the shaft and the gear by the engagement of the first teeth and the second teeth, and a non-engagement state of permitting the relative rotation of the shaft and the gear due to the non-engagement of the first teeth and the second teeth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
