Abstract:
To make it possible to suitably extend a cruising range at an inverter failure time.SOLUTION: A power control system comprises: first and second motor generators; a battery which is connected to the first and second motor generators respectively via first and second inverters; a main relay, a first sub relay and a second sub relay which are respectively provided on the battery side, the first inverter side and the second inverter side with respect to connections among the battery, the first inverter and the second inverter; and a control device having a control part which controls electric power supplied to the first and second motor generators by controlling the first and second inverters. When one of the first and second inverters breaks down, the control part so makes the main relay as to be in an open state, and executes regenerative travel control for driving the motor generator on the normal inverter side by use of electric power that is regeneratively generated by the motor generator on the breaking-down inverter side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
