Abstract:
To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of blowing off dust and the like with a strong air flow by using exhaust air exhausted from a vacuum cleaner body.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a vacuum cleaner body having a dust collection unit, a housing unit and an electric blower; a cord reel having a winding part around which a power cord is wound; and a suction hose connected to the vacuum cleaner body. In the housing unit, a suction side hose connection port connected to the suction hose and for sucking the air flow including dust, and an exhaust port for exhausting the air flow in which dust is separated are formed. In the exhaust port, an exhaust side hose connection port is formed to which the suction hose is connected. The suction hose has a connection part which is connected to a suction side connection port and an exhaust side connection port, and a flow passage of air is provided which goes to the central direction of the cord reel through a hole of a winding part and leads to a suction port of the electric blower. Also, a seal member is provided in an air passage leading to the exhaust port from the electric blower for preventing the exhaust air from leaking to the outside from the vacuum cleaner body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
