To provide a regeneration burner device capable of changing the position of the temperature peak easily, and to provide an operation method of the same.SOLUTION: In an operation method of a regeneration burner 10 in which each burner 2 includes one air nozzle 41 for jetting air and a plurality of fuel nozzles 51, 61 for jetting a fuel and in which the plurality of fuel nozzles 51, 61 include two or more injection directions. By changing the injection amounts of the plurality of fuel nozzles 51, 61 respectively, the position of the temperature peak which is a high temperature range of the fuel gas temperature can be changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
