Abstract:
To facilitate setting work of setting information of a provider for providing IP phone service for an IP telephone.SOLUTION: An IP telephone 1 acquires a global IP address of an NAT device 3 under its own IP telephone from an STUN server 4 connected to an Internet network 8. The IP telephone identifies an IP phone service provider used by an own IP telephone from the acquired global IP address and requests to a setting information management device 2 connected to the Internet network setting information of the provider of the IP phone service used by the own IP telephone. For each provider, the setting information management device 2 manages the setting information for using the IP phone service provided by the provider and transmits the setting information of the provider requested from the IP telephone to the IP telephone. In response, the IP telephone sets the provider's setting information received from the setting information management device in its own IP telephone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
