Abstract:
To provide a protrusion formation method, a protrusion part formation system and a manufacturing method of a metal component having a protrusion part capable of simply forming the solid protrusion part according to press forming without accompanying thinning of a metal plate or reduction in diameter and deformation of a metal rod in the metal plate or the metal rod having the protrusion part used on components of various kinds of devices, power-collecting terminal and like.SOLUTION: In a protrusion part formation method which is the protrusion part formation method for forming a protrusion part on one surface of a metallic work-piece, an outer shape surrounding end part cross-section of the work-piece is pressed according to press molding from a direction perpendicular or oblique with respect to an upright direction of the protrusion part to be formed on one surface of the metallic work-piece and the solid protrusion part of metal is formed by causing metal of the work-piece to plastically flow into a recessed part to serve as a female die with respect to the protrusion part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
