Abstract:
To provide a recording device capable of avoiding with a simple configuration interference between a supply port cover 3 serving as a first opening/closing body provided at an upper portion of the device and an image reading mechanism serving as a second opening/closing body.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a housing 2 having a recording head 10 therein, a medium supply port 9 provided at an upper portion of the housing 2 at rear of the device, the supply port cover 3 that is rotated between a first state where it covers the medium supply port 9 and a second state where it open the medium supply port 9 more than at the first state, an image reading mechanism 4 that is rotated in a same direction as the supply port cover 3 between a third state where it covers a portion other than the medium supply port 9 on the upper portion of the housing 2 and a fourth state where it is farther away from the upper portion of the housing 2 than at the third state, and a moving mechanism 25 that slides the supply port cover 3 toward the rear of the device in conjunction with rotation of the image reading mechanism 4 from the third state to the fourth state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
