本発明の一側面は、重量％で、マンガン（Ｍｎ）：４．３〜５．７％、炭素（Ｃ）：０．０１５〜０．０５５％、シリコン（Ｓｉ）：０．０１５〜０．０５％、アルミニウム（Ａｌ）：０．６〜１．７％、ニオブ（Ｎｂ）：０．０１〜０．１％、チタン（Ｔｉ）：０．０１５〜０．０５５％、ホウ素（Ｂ）：０．００１〜０．００５％、リン（Ｐ）：０．０３％以下、硫黄（Ｓ）：０．０２％以下、残りの鉄（Ｆｅ）、及びその他の不可避不純物からなり、微細組織は、体積分率で、マルテンサイト４０〜６０％及び焼戻しマルテンサイト４０〜６０％を含む、低温靭性に優れた高強度高マンガン鋼に関するものである。
