Abstract:
To provide an engine with a supercharger capable of suppressing in-cylinder pressure in a high rotation region.SOLUTION: A valve actuator 3 comprises a negative pressure chamber 5 facing a diaphragm 4, and energization means 6 of energizing the diaphragm 4 in a direction where the diaphragm is pushed out of the negative pressure chamber 5. The negative pressure chamber 5 is communicated with an air inlet passage 8 of an air compressor 7 of a supercharger 1, to open and close a wastegate valve 2 via the diaphragm 4 that operates by unbalanced force between suction negative pressure 9 introduced into the negative pressure chamber 5 and energization force 10 of the energization means 6; the opening of the wastegate valve 2 increases as the suction negative pressure 9 approaches the vacuum side; and in a high rotation region where an engine speed exceeds a predetermined value, the boost pressure decreases as the engine speed increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
