Abstract:
To provide a stereo imaging apparatus that can detect a detection target with high accuracy while photographing a wide area.SOLUTION: A stereo imaging apparatus 1 includes imaging means 5 including a lens 3 having a low distortion region in which the distortion is smaller than a predetermined amount and a high distortion region in which the distortion is larger than the low distortion region and an imaging sensor, cutting means 7 for outputting, when a detection target is present in a region captured through the low distortion region, a cut image obtained by cutting out a range including the detection target which is the region captured through the low distortion region in the image captured by the pair of imaging means 5, and detecting means 8 for detecting a detection target on the basis of the cut-out image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
