Abstract:
To provide a head unit which enables a reduction of a possibility that a temperature of liquid in a pressure chamber increases.SOLUTION: A head unit includes: a first member 36 formed with a pressure chamber for storing liquid discharged from nozzles; a piezoelectric element 37 which is provided on the pressure chamber and displaced in accordance with a driving signal; a first substrate 38 which is provided on the first member so as to cover the piezoelectric element; an integrated circuit which is provided on the first substrate and supplies the driving signal to the piezoelectric element; a second member 40 which is provided on the first member and in which a storage chamber for storing the liquid is formed; and a third member 80 which is provided on the second member and made of metal. In the second member, a heat radiation opening for radiating heat of the integrated circuit is provided between the integrated circuit and the third member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
