Abstract:
To provide a sheet post-processing device capable of precisely aligning and stacking sheets bent at corner parts and any other sheets in a bundled state.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device B includes: a sheet corner-folding mechanism 50 for corner-folding corner parts of sheets conveyed by conveying mechanisms 24, 25 and 35 on a conveying passage 22; a stacking tray 71 for stacking the conveyed sheets in a bundled state in order to post-process them; a sheet retreating mechanism 80 for temporarily retreating corner parts of the stacked sheets at a tip side or a rear end side in a conveying direction on a sheet stacking part to a surface side opposite to a side on which subsequent sheets are stacked; and a control part 200 for controlling the above operations, wherein the control part operates the sheet retreating mechanism according to a position and a direction of a corner folding part along the conveying direction when an uppermost sheet of the stacked sheets or the subsequent sheet is subjected to corner folding processing by the corner-folding mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
