Abstract:
To provide a driving support device capable of performing an appropriate driving support by securing precision of estimating a position of an own vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving support device 30 includes: first information acquisition section 31 for acquiring information indicating a travel state of an own vehicle as first information; second information acquisition section 32 for acquiring peripheral information of an own vehicle or position information from an outer side as second information; an error calculation section 33 for calculating an error of the first information on the basis of the first information and the second information; an error correction section 34 for correcting an error of the first information calculated by the error calculation section; a position estimation section 35 for estimating a position of an own vehicle on the basis of the corrected first information when the error correction section has performed correction; a driving support section 37 for performing a driving support of an own vehicle on the basis of a position of an own vehicle estimated by the position estimation section; and a mode change section 36 for changing a mode of a predetermined driving support to be performed by the driving support section when the error correction section has performed correction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
