Abstract:
To provide a resin that can suppress photo-degradation of an organic EL light emitting element and a liquid crystal retardation film, an adhesive composition containing the resin, an adhesive layer formed from the adhesive composition, and an optical laminate in which the adhesive layers are laminated.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a resin (A) containing a structural unit having an indole structure. The resin (A) is a resin containing a structural unit having an indole structure in a side chain, preferably; and it has a glass transition temperature of 40°C or less, preferably. The resin (A) is a resin satisfying formula (1), preferably. ε(405)≥0.02 (1) [In formula (1), ε(405) is a gram extinction coefficient of the resin (A) at wavelength 405 nm.
