Abstract:
To provide an on-vehicle device capable of reducing and minimizing a load of information analysis processing on a center side by making necessary and minimizing vehicle probe data detected by a vehicle.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 10 comprises a calculation unit 11 and a determination unit 12. Information on an outside of a vehicle is input from a sensor 20 to the on-vehicle device 10. The on-vehicle device 10 can communicate with a map data acquisition center or the like by a communication unit 30. The on-vehicle device detects a difference between downloaded map data and feature data recognized by the sensor 20 or the like, and calculates a difference degree and a margin. Even when there is the difference, if traveling control can be performed by the on-vehicle device 10, communication data is reduced by not transmitting the different feature data as vehicle probe data to the center side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
