Abstract:
To provide a method, UE or a device for determining the quality of device-to-device direct communication, in order to improve measurement accuracy in D2D direct communication.SOLUTION: In a method executed by D2D capable UE, the D2D capable UE receives (710) a D2D signal or channel transmitted from another D2D capable UE, for determining the link quality of the D2D signal or D2D channel, and identifies (730) identification information of the other D2D capable UE when a determination is made that detection (720) of the D2D signal or channel is successful. Received signal power on resources of the D2D signal or channel is measured (740), signal strength indicator is measured (750) on the resources of the D2D signal or channel or on other resources different from the resources of the D2D signal or channel, and then the link quality is determined (760) based on the measured received signal power and the measured signal strength indicator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
