Abstract:
To provide a power supply system capable of accurately detecting a current capacity of a power supply cable even when performing power supply using a power supply cable of which the current capacity may be changed.SOLUTION: A power supply system is configured to perform power supply from a power supplying device 300 to a power receiving device (charging unit 210) by using a power supply cable 100. The power supply cable 100 comprises a connector 21 which is attachable to and detachable from a power supply port (inlet 213) of the power receiving device, and a connection port 11 to which a plug-equipped cable 30A is connected in an exchangeable manner. The plug-equipped cable 30A includes an outlet plug 31A which is attachable to and detachable from an outlet 301 of the power supplying device 300. Multiple kinds of plug-equipped cables including the plug-equipped cable 30A have different features for each current capacity. The power supply system comprises means (control section 12) for detecting a current capacity of the power supply cable 100 by using the feature of the plug-equipped cable 30A which is connected to the connection port 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
