Abstract:

To provide an element substrate that is configured to reduce influences of unbalance of temperatures caused by evolution of heat of wiring.SOLUTION: An element substrate comprises a plurality of recording elements arranged in a first direction, a first connection terminal provided at one end side of a row of the recording elements and a second connection terminal provided at the other end side. Further, the substrate comprises a first wiring group connecting one end of each recording element to the first connection terminal and a second wiring group connecting the other end of each recording element to the second connection terminal. Wiring included in the first wiring group is cascade-connected to recording elements constituting each group which are arranged close to each other and divided and driven of the plurality of recording elements, while is parallely connected to the recording elements constituting each block which are arranged separately from each other and simultaneously driven. Further, wiring included in the second wiring group is cascade-connected to the recording elements constituting each group of the plurality of recording elements, while is parallely connected to the recording elements constituting each block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
