Abstract:
To reduce the force necessary for extraction of a medium supply device in comparison to a case where there is no rotation part.SOLUTION: A medium supply device includes: a box body which stores a medium and is inserted/extracted with respect to the body of an image formation apparatus; a bottom plate which is arranged on a bottom part of the box body, on which the medium is mounted, and which is lifted up with the elastic force of an elastic body; and a rotation part which is attached to a side wall located on the side with respect to the front side where the box body is extracted from the image formation apparatus, in the wall of the box body, and which rotates around an attachment spot. The rotation part includes: a rear portion which is located on the rear side with respect to the front side with respect to the attachment spot and moves upward with the reaction force from the body side following the extraction of the box body; and a front portion which is located on the front side with respect to the attachment spot, and moves downward with the rotation of the rotation part due to the upward movement of the rear portion to lift down the bottom plate against the elastic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
