Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can exactly reproduce the color of an image assumed by a user even when a recording sheet is colored.SOLUTION: A control unit 10 of an image forming apparatus 1, every time it receives an instruction to acquire first color information, stores, in an HDD 19, color information acquired from first image data generated by causing an image reading unit 11 to read a recording sheet as the first color information in association with a color name. When receiving an instruction to display information indicating selectable colors of a recording sheet, the control unit displays, on a display unit 16, information indicating the colors of at least one recording sheet on the basis of the first color information. When receiving an instruction to select one of the colors of at least one recording sheet, or an instruction to execute copying processing, the control unit further performs color correction of second image data according to first color information corresponding to the selected color of the recording sheet and second color information acquired from the second image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
