Abstract:
To provide an ultrasound motor and a measurement device comprising the ultrasound motor, the ultrasound motor having an output shaft and a rotation shaft directly connected to each other, the ultrasound motor removing influence of eccentricity between the output shaft and the rotation shaft.SOLUTION: An ultrasound motor 14 has an output shaft 22 connected to a rotation shaft 17, stators 27, 32 rotatably provided to the output shaft, a rotor 23 fastened to the rotation shaft, and a vibration generation part 25 for generating ultrasound vibration that causes the rotor and the stators to relatively rotate. Between the stator and a fixed side 11 supporting the rotation shaft, a rotation stop unit 45 is provided. The rotation stop unit includes a joint holder 47 provided on the fixed side, a ball holder provided on the joint holder, and a connector provided on the stator. The connector is tiltably held between the ball holder and a base to restrict the connector's displacement in a rotation direction. A radial displacement between the joint holder and the connector is made to be absorbed by tilting of a connection pin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
