Abstract:
To provide novel COMT activators, and to provide pharmaceutical compositions containing the COMT activators as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: Provided is a catechol-O-methyltransferase activator containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the following general formula (I), a stereoisomer thereof, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable solvate thereof. In the formula, Rto Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or a hydroxy group; Rrepresents a vinyl group or a hydroxy group; and Y represents a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, which may have a hydroxy group as a substituent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
