Abstract:
To suppress a delay in execution of control processing even when the number of transmitted and received messages is large.SOLUTION: A communication system 10 comprises a main control device 20 and an authentication device 60. The main control device can communicate with a sub control device 12 and the authentication device, and comprises a first communication unit 21 and a first control unit 31. The first communication unit receives a message from the sub control device. When a message received from the sub control device by the first communication unit is an authentication target, the first control unit requests the authentication device to authenticate the message, collectively acquires authentication results of a plurality of messages by the authentication device, and executes control processing based on the messages using the acquired authentication results. The authentication device comprises a second communication unit 61 which can at least communicate with the main control device, and a second control unit 71. When the second communication unit receives a message authentication request from the main control device, the second control unit authenticates the message and transmits the message authentication results to the main control device via the second communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
