Abstract:
To provide a buffer capable of improving dimension quality and securing sealability of a seal ring.SOLUTION: A buffer 10 comprises a cylinder 11, an outer cylinder 15, an intermediate cylinder 14, a discharge passage 18 sectioned between the intermediate cylinder 14 and the cylinder 11, and a reservoir 19 sectioned between the intermediate cylinder 14 and the outer cylinder 15. The intermediate cylinder 14 has, on its inner peripheral surface, a groove 31 having a concave cross section that can accommodate a seal ring 32 for closing the discharge passage 18. When an angle formed between a side surface positioned on an axial end side of the intermediate cylinder 14 out of both side surfaces of the groove 31 of the intermediate cylinder 14 and a surface PL1 orthogonal to the axial direction of the intermediate cylinder 14 is defined as θ1, and an angle formed between the side surface positioned on the axial center side of the intermediate cylinder 14 and the surface PL2 is defined as θ2, the relationship of θ1<θ2 is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
