Abstract:
To provide an exhaust unit which achieves downsizing of a range hood and concurrently enables easy removal of a sirocco fan.SOLUTION: An exhaust unit includes: a range hood provided above a face-to-face kitchen which is installed spaced apart from a wall surface of a building; an exhaust duct connected to the range hood at one end; a fan box connected to the other end of the exhaust duct; a sirocco fan for forming airflow from the range hood to the fan box; and a fan casing which is housed in the fan box, detachably attached to the sirocco fan, and used to guide air sent by the sirocco fan to an exhaust port provided on the wall surface of the building. The fan box is provided at the side opposite to the face-to-face kitchen across a cooking space. An opening for taking the sirocco fan out from the fan box is provided on a side surface or a lower surface of the fan box.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
