Abstract:
To control current of a winding more stably than conventionally done in a configuration comprising a stator with a toothless structure, while still having the conventional control device capability.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 10 comprises: a rotator 40 having first magnets 91 and 92 which are permanent magnets and rotatably supported by a housing 30; and a stator 50 fixed to the housing 30 and positioned co-axially with the rotator 40. The stator 50 includes: a stator winding 51 having a plurality of conductive wires 82 which are arranged in a circumferential direction of the stator 50; and a stator core 52 supporting the stator winding 51. The rotary electric machine is configured such that each of inter winding members (a sealing member 57 and a projection part 142) using a specific magnetic material or a non-magnetic material is provided between the conductive wires 82 in the circumferential direction, or no inter winding member is provided between the conductive wires 82 in the circumferential direction. The stator winding 51 has coil end parts 54 and 55 which project in an axial direction from the stator core 52, and soft magnetic members 150 and 152 in at least part of a front surface of each of the coil end parts 54 and 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
