Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of obtaining an effect of reducing electromagnetic noise generated during arc discharge in an electric contact device in a wide frequency band.SOLUTION: A rotating electric machine 1 includes an electric contact device 30 having a high-potential side contact and a low-potential side contact having mutually different electric potentials, and all of a plurality of commutator pieces 32 and two brushes 35 and 36 constituting the electric contact device 30 are composed of zinc as a low boiling material with a boiling point below 2562°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
