Abstract:
To detect the erroneous attachment of an ignition plug.SOLUTION: A flame ejector (11) equipped with an auxiliary chamber (12) is screwed in attaching holes (16 and 20) formed on a cylinder head (3). Sensors (16 and 20) for detecting a combustion state in a main combustion chamber (5) are provided. If the sensors (16 and 20) detect that the combustion state in the main combustion chamber (5) becomes a different combustion state from the combustion state in the main combustion chamber (5) when the flame ejector (11) is screwed in the attaching holes (16 and 20) of the cylinder head (3), it is determined that an ignition plug is erroneously screwed in the attaching holes (16 and 20) of the cylinder head (3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
