Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of calculating a steering angle while ensuring accuracy and redundancy, in a steering system executing power steering by a motor.SOLUTION: In a steering system 90 of vehicle comprising multiple systems including a detection circuit for calculating the rotation detection value of a motor 80 driving a steering mechanism 92 or 97 on the basis of an angle sensor for detecting rotation of the motor, and a power supply path, respectively, a control arrangement 10 for controlling the motor includes a storage section 11 for storing the steering angle information when the steering mechanism stops, an abnormality determination part 12 for determining abnormality of the detection circuit of multiple systems and the rotation detection value by comparison of at least two parameters obtained by power supply from a different power supply path, out of parameters containing the rotation detection value acquired from the detection circuit of multiple systems at the time of starting the motor 80, and the stored steering angle information, and a steering angle calculation part 13 for calculating the steering angle on the basis of parameters not determined abnormal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
