Abstract:
To provide a wastewater treatment method that requires less cost for the replenishment of adsorbent.SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment method, comprising: a wastewater treating step of treating wastewater with an adsorbent; an adhesion step in which an adsorbent powder (8) is allowed to attach to the base material of the adsorbent; and a thermal treatment step in which the adsorbent is subjected to a thermal treatment. In the thermal treatment step, contaminants adsorbed on the adsorbent in the wastewater treating step are thermally decomposed and the adsorbent powder (8) is fixed to the base material of the adsorbent, so that the adsorbent treated as above can be used again in the wastewater treating step. Alternatively, the adhesion step may be carried out by immersing an adsorbent into an adhesive (21) to allow an adsorbent powder (8) to be attached to the base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
