Abstract:
To provide a technique for suppressing execution of inappropriate processing on the basis of a response received by an external device from an abnormal electronic control device to a processing request from the external device.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle electronic control device includes a microcomputer, a communication part and an external abnormality detection part. The microcomputer executes vehicle control. The communication part connects an external device transmitting a processing request to the electronic control device and located outside the electronic control device and the microcomputer communicably. In S400-S408, when detecting an abnormality of the microcomputer, the external abnormality detection part installed outside the microcomputer controls the communication part so as not to transmit a response to the processing request from the microcomputer to the external device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
