Abstract:
To provide a power transmission device capable of inhibiting a pressure from being applied to balls in an environment that a moment load is applied.SOLUTION: The power transmission device includes a housing, a ball screw device, a sprocket, and a shaft, the ball screw device including a screw shaft fixed to the housing, a nut movable in the axial direction of the screw shaft, and the plurality of balls arranged between the screw shaft and the nut, the sprocket being arranged at a position different from that of the ball screw device in the axial direction of the screw shaft, the shaft passing through the screw shaft and the sprocket, the screw shaft including a plurality of circulation grooves provided in the outer peripheral face for circulating the balls. In the case that the opposite direction to the direction in which the sprocket applies force to the shaft when the sprocket is rotated is set as a first direction, at least one circulation groove is not arranged in the end in the first direction, out of the outer peripheral face of the screw shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
