Abstract:
To provide a long article vibration suppression device capable of suppressing vibration of a long article irrespective of a vibration timing of the long article, and an elevator device provided with the long article vibration suppression device.SOLUTION: A long article vibration suppression device 8 comprises a long article contact body 23 movable to a vibration suppression position and a standby position. The long article contact body 23 comprises a pair of base rods 33A, 33B opposed to each other with a suitable distance so as to receive a long article therebetween at a vibration suppression position, and a pair of rotary arms 36A, 36B respectively connected to the tips of the pair of base rods 33A, 33B so as to be rotatable. The pair of base rods 33A, 33B have rotation regulation parts 38A, 38B which allow the pair of rotary arms 36A, 36B to rotate in a direction for receiving the long article between the pair of base rods 33A, 33B, and lock rotation of the pair of rotary arms 36A, 36B outside the pair of base rods 33A, 33B in a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
