Abstract:
To provide a thin sheet glass or glass film containing SiOas a silica glass component of 99.9% or more and excellent in curvature property, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A thin sheet glass or glass film contains SiOas a silica glass component of 99.9% or more, and has a thickness of 5 μm or less. Since it contains silica glass fibers as a substrate, it can self-stand even with thin thickness and can easily be formed, and for example preferably has a porous sheet-like substrate made of the silica glass fibers and a fill-in-the-blank part consisting of the silica glass formed to fill gaps of the sheet-like substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
