Abstract:
To provide an ash discharge device that can discharge ash with a low-water content rate from a discharge port of a screw conveyor.SOLUTION: An ash discharge device 5 includes: a hopper 6 into which ash is loaded; and a screw conveyor 7 for conveying the ash from the hopper 6 to another place. The screw conveyor 7 includes: a cylindrical casing 71 extending obliquely upward from a lower part of the hopper 6 and provided with a discharge port 70 at the tip thereof; a center shaft 72 disposed along a central line of the casing 71; and an auger 73 provided in a prescribed range from a place on a side of the hopper 6 in the center shaft 71 to a place right before the discharge port 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
