Abstract:
To improve cooling performance in a contact part between a pulley and an element in a belt transmission.SOLUTION: A transmission belt comprise a plurality of elements and a ring retaining ring suspended on the outside in a radial direction, and is used in a continuously variable transmission. At least a part of a rill extending from a saddle surface to a contact part with the pulley is provided inside in the radial direction of the pulley with respect to the ring retaining ring, without providing a boss part and a dimple part. The rill has a convex part and a concave part in a traveling direction of the transmission belt, extends toward the outside in the radial direction of the pulley as it goes outward in a width direction of the element, and has a structure in which the elements arranged at the front and rear are pressed by the rill to transmit power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
