Abstract:
To provide a simple method capable of determining, in a configuration comprising a plurality of object detection devices transmitting transmission waves substantially simultaneously, a transmission source of a received wave that has been transmitted from the object detection device and returned.SOLUTION: An object detection system as an example of embodiments comprises a plurality of first object detection devices. Each of the plurality of first object detection devices comprises: a transmission unit for transmitting a first wave as a transmission wave having a first frequency, which is different from other frequencies that other first object detection devices have, among a plurality of first frequencies arranged within a range of a prescribed frequency bandwidth substantially simultaneously as other first object detection devices transmit; a receiving unit for receiving a received wave that has been transmitted as said transmission wave, and returned after reflection at an object; a determination unit for determining correspondence between one or more second frequencies of one or more second waves included in the received wave and the plurality of first frequencies, on the basis of a result of frequency analysis for the received wave and information about the plurality of first frequencies; and a detection unit for detecting information about the object based on information acquired according to a determination result obtained by the determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
