Abstract:
To provide a POS terminal device, composed of a main body and a drawer, capable of ensuring a connection between the main body and the drawer easily.SOLUTION: A POS terminal device 1 includes a detector 2a that detects a voltage of the ground with a drawer connected, in addition to general functions. The voltage is a state of electrical connection obtained by monitoring a circuit during a period when no voltage is output by an operation voltage output unit 2c. With the drawer disconnected, the detector 2a is not connected to a lock unit 3b, and thus the circuit is disconnected. Therefore, the detector 2a detects a detection voltage as a state of electrical connection obtained by monitoring a circuit. A notifier 2b obtains and reports a state of connection determined by the detector 2a from the state of electrical connection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
