Abstract:
To provide a light-emitting array element etc. capable of suppressing a leak current and achieving series wiring.SOLUTION: A light-emitting array element 101, including a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements 131a-131d, also includes a substrate and a semiconductor laminate which is laminated on a first principal plane of the substrate. On the semiconductor laminate, one or more insulating regions extending in the resonance direction of the light-emitting array element are formed. Also, on the second principal plane side of the substrate, one or more grooves 120 extending in the resonance direction are formed. Each of the one or more grooves reaches either of one or more insulating regions from the second principal plane. Each of the plurality of semiconductor light-emitting devices includes a part of the substrate and the semiconductor laminate. Two semiconductor light-emitting devices that are mutually adjacent among the plurality of semiconductor light-emitting devices are isolated each other by the one or more insulating regions and the one or more grooves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
