Abstract:
To provide a magnetic storage device which can operate stably.SOLUTION: A magnetic storage device includes a storage unit and a control unit. The storage unit includes a storage element, a conductive member, and a terminal. The storage element includes: a switch element; and a magnetic element electrically connected in series to the switch element. The terminal is electrically connected to the switch element. The control unit is electrically connected to the terminal and the conductive member. The control unit at least performs a selective write operation and a read operation. In the selective write operation, the control unit supplies a current to the conductive member. In the read operation, the control unit applies a read pulse to a portion between the conductive member and the terminal so as to detect a value corresponding to an electric resistance. The read pulse includes: a first period having a first read voltage; and a second period, after the first period, having a second read voltage. An absolute value of the second read voltage is lower than that of the first read voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
