Abstract:
To improve power factor while simplifying circuit structure, in an insulation type switching power supply of one converter system.SOLUTION: An insulation type switching power supply has a transformer, at least one switching element on primary side, and a smoothing capacitor connected to the secondary side. One choke transformer is provided on the secondary side. The choke transformer has a core, and first and second coils series connected to each other at the same polarity and loosely coupled to each other, and a terminal or a starting end of the first coil is connected to the starting end of the secondary coil. The insulation type switching power supply further has: a first rectification element capable of conducting a current flowing from a ground end on the secondary side to the starting end or the terminal of the first coil; a second rectification element capable of conducting a current flowing from the terminal or the starting end of the first coil to the output terminal on the secondary side; and a third rectification element capable of conducting a current flowing to the output end on the secondary side via the terminal of the second coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
