Abstract:
To provide a feature pertaining to a terminal device, a base station device, a method, and an integrated circuit, with which it is possible to reduce the complexity of a protocol process and perform communication efficiently.SOLUTION: A terminal device communicating with a base station device includes: a reception unit for receiving a user equipment (UE) capability inquiry message; and a transmission unit for notifying UE capability information to the base station device on the basis of the UE capability inquiry message. The UE capability information includes information about UE capability pertaining to a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer, and the information about the UE capability pertaining to the SDAP layer includes information that indicates whether an uplink SDAP header is supported and/or information that indicates whether a default data wireless bearer is supported.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
