Abstract:
To enable a refrigerant leaked from an indoor unit to be detected without using a closed space that may restrict pipe arrangement, or many sensors.SOLUTION: An indoor unit 1 accommodates a heat exchanger 141 and a blower fan 135 inside a housing 110, and from a ventilation space 123 in which an airflow passing through the heat exchanger 141 flows, is drawn out to a pipe region 124 partitioned from the ventilation space 123. Further, at the ends of refrigerant pipes 142, 143 drawn out of the housing 110 from the pipe region 124, pipe connecting parts 144, 145 connected to an inter-unit pipe are provided. An opening is formed in a left side wall 114 below the pipe connecting parts 144 and 145. A refrigerant sensor 154 is arranged at a position near the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
