Abstract:
To provide an image picking-up device and an image picking-up method that can mutually convey information between devices.SOLUTION: Image picking-up devices 1a and 1b include: imaging units 2a and 2b for capturing images of imaging subjects; and projection units 3a and 3b for projecting transmission information to the imaging subjects by optical signals specific to the respective image picking-up devices, respectively. Each of the image picking-up devices receives by the imaging unit the transmission information projected by the optical signal from the other image picking-up device, and identifies information on the other image picking-up device based on the transmission information received by the imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
