Abstract:
To provide an electric vehicle capable of accurately determining an abnormality of a lock mechanism while protecting durability of the lock mechanism.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a charging port 2 to which a charging plug is connected; a lock mechanism 21 for locking the connection state between the charging plug and the charging port 2; a lock mechanism control unit 31 for executing lock operation checking control for performing lock and unlock operations of the lock mechanism 21 after the connection between the charging port 2 and the charging plug is released when a lock operation or an unlock operation of the lock mechanism 21 fails in a state that the charging plug is connected to the charging port 2; and an abnormality determination unit 32 for determining that the lock mechanism 21 is in an abnormal state when the lock or unlock operation of the lock mechanism 21 by the lock operation checking control fails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
